New Year’s Eve Oreo Truffles

Description

Creamy, Oreo-filled truffles coated in decadent white or semisweet chocolate for a festive and indulgent treat.


Ingredients

→ For the truffles

  • 36 Oreos (Original, not double stuffed)
  • 1 package (8 oz) full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 23 cups melted chocolate (white or semisweet)
  • 1/4 cup additional Oreos, crushed (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Crush the 36 Oreos into fine crumbs and mix with softened cream cheese.
  2. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Melt the chocolate of your choice.
  4. Dip the chilled Oreo balls into the melted chocolate and place them back on parchment paper.
  5. Sprinkle the tops with crushed Oreos before the chocolate hardens.
  6. Let the truffles set completely, then serve and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure to chill the truffles before dipping to prevent them from falling apart.

Use a fork to dip the truffles for a smoother coating.

Store truffles in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze them for longer storage.
